How SQLQuokka handles account information, practice queries, analytics, and error reports.
Last updated: October 26, 2026
1. Information we process
Your SQL queries run in your browser. When you press Run & Check, your query and its result are sent to the SQLQuokka answer service, hosted on Supabase, so the answer can be checked. If you are signed in, the query, whether it was correct, and your progress and streak are saved to your account so you can see your history. If you are not signed in, checked queries are not stored.
If you choose to sign in with Google, Supabase Auth processes the sign-in and the basic account information provided by Google, such as your name and email address. The authentication client stores session information in your browser so that you can remain signed in.
2. Browser storage and service providers
You can sign out from the site to clear the active authentication session. Google and Supabase process information under their own privacy policies.
The site is delivered over web hosting infrastructure. The hosting provider may process technical request information as needed to deliver and protect the site.
3. Usage analytics and error reports
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and Vercel Speed Insights to measure how fast pages load. Neither uses cookies or identifies individual visitors.
The site also records how its features are used, for example which questions are opened, whether answer checks pass, and when hints are revealed, and it reports technical errors with the error message, page, and browser type. These records use a random identifier that lasts only for your browser tab, are linked to your account only if you are signed in, never include the SQL you write, and are deleted after 90 days.
4. How information is used
Account information is used to authenticate you and display your signed-in identity. Usage records and error reports are used to keep the site working and to decide which questions and features to improve. We do not sell this information, use it for advertising, or track your activity across other websites.
5. Your choices
Google sign-in is optional. You can use the SQL practice features without signing in. You can sign out at any time to clear the active Supabase session from the site.
